No special skills are required - just a big heart, a bit of time, and a belief in the power of showing up. With staff support, training, and a welcoming team beside you, you’ll never volunteer alone.

R.I.S.E. YOUTH MENTORING

RESILLENCE. INSPIRATION. SUPPORT. EMPOWERMENT.

We know the power of a caring adult who shows up, listens, and believes in a young person’s potential. Through R.I.S.E. Youth Mentoring, volunteers are matched with youth ages 6–18 to build consistent, supportive relationships that foster resilience, inspiration, and growth.

No experience required - just a willingness to be present and intentional. Whether you’re creating art, talking through challenges, or learning something new together, R.I.S.E. is about showing up and helping youth feel seen, heard, and valued.

As a Mentor, you will:

Meet twice a month for at least an hour with your mentee
Explore shared interests like art, music, games, or just hang out and talk
Help your mentee set and work toward personal, academic, or emotional goals
Be supported every step of the way by Resonant Vibe staff

Time Commitment: Flexible

Support Provided: Training, resources, and ongoing guidance from our program team. Opportunities to connect with other mentors and share experiences.

Prepare to complete the application

Before you start this application, have your driver's license and proof of car insurance ready to upload. You'll need the names and contact information for three references (employment, personal and spousal/close family).

If you have worked with children in any professional or volunteer capacity within the last five years, you will also need to provide the name and contact information of the person who was supervising you. This includes, but is not limited to, church youth groups, schools, etc.
